Our Story

Shelby was born and raised in Tomball, Texas. The passion for building and carpentry started as a kid while helping his father build their custom home in Magnolia. As he watched the process of building, it became a fascination with how raw materials can create the beauty of the home we eventually resided in. Prior to starting Cadeau Carpentry, Shelby was a realtor, property investor doing fix and flips, and eventually started Redbeard Renovation. While running Redbeard Renovation, Shelby would tackle just about any project his clients requested. From bathroom remodels to porch additions and everything in between, he has tackled just about every trade. Cadeau Carpentry was born from doing and trying. Carpentry seemed to be his greatest gift, and now he would like to share that gift with his clients!
